Plant Parts On House
Leftover plant roots are plant parts on a stucco
wall is a sure sign that there was at one time a vining plant growing on
the house.
These are dead giveaways for a home inspector when you know what you are
looking for.
I would advise you to look under the roof eave to make sure the plant
has not grown into the roof or through one of the vent blocks.
This house of course has no damage and it was a good thing that they
removed the plant. In a situation like this if you enjoy looking at a
vining plant on your home, let me at least make a suggestion. Maintain
the plant and keep it from growing onto your roofing.
Once the plant starts to grow on your roof it can actually grow
underneath the roof shingles and work its way into the attic. This
situation over time will definitely create a roof leak.
