| Now this is a very creative way to repair
the bottom of this stair stringer. I don't know if even I would've
thought of doing something like this.
This is the first time I have ever seen a exterior stair repair done
this way. They have made it look like, it was built this way on purpose,
from the very beginning.
Now this wood repair could last for quite a few years if the moisture is
kept away from it. Don't assume because something looks out of place it
will not last, some carpenters are extremely creative when it comes to
home repairs.
While I was walking up this set of stairs I noticed that it was strong
and secure, this repair obviously did its job.
