| This gate has obviously seen better days and
will need to be replaced, if some one purchases this home with any sized
dog, small or large. It looks like most dogs would be able to escape
underneath this gate.
It looks like someone cut the bottom half of the damaged gate off to
give you the illusion that there are no problems here.
We can see not only did they cut the damaged section of the gate off,
they also left some of the damage.
While doing a home inspection this will be a clue to look for more wood
damage on this side of the home.
Let's not assume that the bottom of the gate was cut off, it could have
actually been raised for some other reason.
