Two Story Attic Access Door
Here's an attic access that is located in one of
the bedrooms. This might not be the best place for an attic access
because people will place furniture in front of them, blocking them off,
which makes it hard for the people that need to go into the attics for
maintenance.
The one thing I like about second story attic access, is simply the fact
that no ladder is required or pull down stairway to gain access to the
attic.
Be careful when exiting these attic access areas, attics are normally
dirty and you could track this dirt into the home.
Most homeowners do not like dirt on their carpeting. Always carry a
cloth tarp when you run into a situation like this as a home inspector.
Treat the homes you are inspecting better than you would your own and
always clean up any mess that you make.
