Small Trees Grow
Small trees often seem to turn into larger ones.
In the picture above, you can see these
trees are safely away from the property and
probably won't create any problems for nearby buildings.
When thinking about buying a house, consider the location and size of
these trees. If any trees were planted within 15 feet of a house, over
time some of them could cause structural damage.
The structural damage could be
expensive to repair, especially if the tree roots damage the footings or
foundation of the home.
You also have the possibility of the whole tree or
branches falling on to the
house, which could also damage the structure.
If there are trees planted within 5 feet of a building, find out how
large these trees will become or how much it will cost you to remove
them, if necessary.
