Concrete Footing Damage
It's hard to tell if this concrete footing is
damaged or if someone filled up the crawl space access hole with
concrete. Either way there is a structural problem here and the concrete
is starting to deteriorate.
A problem like this could be inexpensive to repair if someone was just
filling in the access hole. If the damage was caused from something else
it could require a structural engineer to make the correction.
Looking at the damage to the rest of the foundation on this house, I
found another access hole on the side of the home that looked like it
was broke out with a sledgehammer.
This could actually be, what happened here and then someone filled the
access hole with concrete for whatever reason.
