Roof Eave Vent Blocks
Here's a roof eave vent block that is located and
a aesthetically pleasing location.
If the vent block was located on the sides it might look a little
strange.
This entire area of the roof looks great, everything looks nice in this
picture and should not be a problem with your home inspection.
I would like to point out that the crown molding could
be a problem that is located right below the arrow. Make sure there are
no gaps in between the molding where it butts up against the siding.
If there are any gaps, make sure you fill them with caulking. These are
great spots to collect moisture and over time this moisture will leak
into the window and possibly the window framing, this of course could
create wood rot or attract termites.
Always keep your eye out for horizontal or level sections of the house
that could accumulate moisture like this one.
